The Underwater Channel (www.theunderwaterchannel.tv) is a new free to watch online TV channel available globally on your computer. It is fuelled by the passion of divers and dedicated to exploring the mysteries and the marvels of the underwater world.
UWC is a unique mix of original and acquired programming. Each month seven divers - the Faces of the Channel - present Splash! - a magazine-style program with bite-sized topical stories, interviews, resort reports and equipment reviews. There will also be a monthly underwater photography master class with Martin Edge and Creature Features with Dr. Alex Mustard.
The Channel's Faces are experienced and well known divers from different dive destinations around the world who bring their own particular passions and expertise to the Chanel. Their geographically diverse reports bring a truly global perspective to The Underwater Channel.
UWC's acquired content (its video on demand) is a mix of professionally produced videos on a broad range of underwater subjects from film makers around the world. At the heart of The Underwater Channel is the desire to be a maverick for change and they are pleased therefore to extend the offer of their platform to Ocean charities keen to promote their own causes to a wider, focused international community.
